Young versions are tannic and hard, but if carefully
vinified and aged, the tannins break down, revealing a
velvety wine with a wide range of complex aromas and
flavors. Sometimes notes of cedar or black currents are
discernible. Goes well with beef, lamb, duck and
cheese. To drink ar 16 degrees C. To age for 10 years
and more.
