Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is a French grape variety, especially known in the Bordeaux region. Introduced a few years ago in Switzerland, it gives very good results in warm years because it is very late for our regions. This is why we won’t make this wine every vintage. It gives tannic and colourful wines.

Tasting:
Nose: red fruits, coffee, mint and spices.
Palate: tannic. The woodiness is still present in young wine and we find blackcurrant aromas.

Food and wine pairing:
Shoulder of lamb, leg of lamb, game and hunting.
