Coteau de Chalamont
The grape Charmont is derived from a cross between Chasselas and Chardonnay grapes. Charmont varietal wines are elegant and fruity while retaining the freshness of Chasselas.
Bouquet: Hints of minerality, but the fruit is dominant.
Palate: The Charmont shows some of the smoothness of Chardonnay. The main hints are of fish and pineapple.
The Coteau de Chalamont is a wine that is ideal as an aperitif. However, the same as Chasselas, this wine is wonderful with fondue and raclette.
